Spring Farm School Tours

May 13th through June 27th

Grades JK-3 CURRICULUM FOCUSED 

$15 plus tax per student

including 4:1 ratio to parents and teachers. Additional adults

are $15 per person plus tax.

JK/SK

Focuses on healthy eating, adapting to changes and our environment. Students will experience plating their own seed, taking them home and watching it grow!

Grade 1

Focuses on healthy eating. Determining the difference between grains, proteins and fruit and vegetables. Part of the program also includes changes in animal population; factors and examples. Students will experience plating their own seed, taking them home and watching it grow!

Grade 2

Focuses on classification of animals. Students will work together to determine the classification based on the characteristics given as well as matching the animal with the correct classification. Touches base on species of special concern and endangered species. Students will experience plating their own seed, taking them home and watching it grow!

Grade 3

Focuses on parts of the plant and flower. Includes the understanding of pollination and the importance of this process. Students will also learn the different stages of a blueberry plant. Students will experience plating their own seed, taking them home and watching it grow!

Learn the importance of farming, do a field study, feed the animals, farm hunt and explore the adventure farm.  PLUS...Each student receives a seed kit (spring tours) or a pie pumpkin (fall tours)

School Tour includes an active learning program, farm scavenger hunt, planting a seed, animal feeding and Adventure Farm Fun!

We can accommodate 10 classes per session, of assorted grades from Kindergarten through Grade 3. Each class will tour separately as the tour is tailored to that classes specific grade expectations. Teachers, save on transportation costs and book 4 classes together!
